Nigeria’s Zenith Bank launches $73k startup competition

Nigeria’s Zenith Bank has partnered Seedstars to launch its Zecathon 3.0, a challenge aimed at identifying, supporting, and mentoring Nigerian MVP-stage startups with a prize pool of NGN59 million (US$73,000).

The Zecathon 3.0 pitch competition also provides business support for its participants through training, mentorship, and investor networking opportunities, further enabling startups to achieve their growth trajectories.

Startups looking to participate in the program should be at the MVP stage with a full team, and have raised no more than US$75,000 in funding. Additionally, the must operate within the following domains – e-commerce, payments, lending, wellness, cybersecurity, ed-tech, energy, agri-tech, entertainment, mobility, and logistics.
