Women Who Build Africa (WWBA), a community created to convene and support women working in tech across Africa, has announced an open call for women founders, as well as investors and ecosystem partners, to express interest in joining their first annual Assembly, taking place in Nairobi, Kenya on September 13-14.

Founded in 2022 by Gwera Kiwana (MFS Africa) and Thea Sokolowski (Stitch), WWBA is an intentional community designed to bring together women and non-binary people across Africa’s tech space, with a goal of enabling them to build better.

Its first Assembly event will provide 10 founders the opportunity for an all-expenses-paid trip to Nairobi to attend the event, pitch to a room of the region’s leading investors, and network with ecosystem partners.

Founders, investors, mentors or additional partners can express interest here until August 14.
