Kenyan startup MyHealth Africa has rebranded as My 1Health as it launches its global platform that aims to transforming access to specialised healthcare.

The My 1Health platform connects patients to world-class specialised healthcare services worldwide, and results from a merger between two industry leaders, MyHealth Africa and International Medical Treatment.

By leveraging advanced technology and strategic partnerships, My 1Health aims to create a seamless patient  journey and enhance healthcare experiences. With the new My 1Health, patients can access an extensive network of expert doctors, comprehensive medical facilities, and personalised treatment options.

“We’re thrilled to introduce My 1Health, a game-changer in the specialised medical facilitation sector,” said Ryan Marincowitz, CEO and founder of My 1Health. “By merging MyHealth Africa and International Medical Treatment, we’ve curated a unified platform that combines the best of both worlds, providing patients with unparalleled access to specialised healthcare services globally.”

The new entity is also announcing its expansion into Ethiopia and South Sudan, an important step towards its mission of improving access to specialised healthcare services across the region.

“By establishing new offices in these countries, we’re broadening our reach and edging closer to transforming the specialised healthcare experience for thousands of patients,” said Marincowitz.

My 1Health’s innovative approach has attracted robust investor confidence, with backing from Founders Factory Africa, Samurai Incubate, GIIG Africa Fund, and other notable investors. Having  already assisted nearly 35,000 patients to access specialised healthcare services around the world, the company is committed to expanding its presence globally, with plans to extend to the Middle East and South Asia this year.
