The Moroccan startup PrestaFreedom, a home services platform specialising in household subscriptions and other services for individuals, has raised MDH11 million (US$1.1 million) from the Azur Innovation Fund to accelerate its growth at the national and regional level.

Founded in 2020, PrestaFreedom is a services platform that offers a recurring and personalised cleaning subscription, giving access to a wide range of services to help individuals in their daily lives.

The startup plans to expand further across Morocco, and indeed into the rest of Africa, and to that end has secured capital from the Azur Innovation Fund, a seed public-private investment fund that finances innovative startups. The MDH11 million (US$1.1 million) funding will be used by PrestaFeeedom to develop its logistics and technological chains in order to align with the growth of the company and the expansion of its services.

“We are proud of this growth opportunity offered to us by our Azur Innovation Fund partners. This is a decisive step in the development of this startup that I launched a few years ago to meet a specific need and whose success today exceeds the most optimistic forecasts,” said Majid Benslimane, founder and CEO of PrestaFreedom.
