African entrepreneurs with ideas and solutions for tackling the world’s food, water and climate challenges have been invited to apply for the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator, which offers mentorship and seed funding of up to US$120,000.
Applications open until April 7 for the programme, which is run by Techstars on behalf of the Nature Conservancy and will select 10 companies from all over the world to take part.
These startups will participate in an intense three-month mentorship-driven programme model where the Nature Conservancy, Techstars and other mentors will do all that they can to help them grow their businesses. It concludes with a demo day.
The programme is seeking applications from startups in areas as broad as agriculture, fisheries, forests, aquaculture, water data and markets, climate and adaptation, carbon sequestration, green-printing cities and beyond, with impact at their core.
