KickStart programme targets South West Nigerian entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs from the South West region of Nigeria have been invited to apply for the KickStart programme, which offers finalists grants of between NGN500,000 (US$1,400) and NGN1.8 million (U$5,000).

This is the second Nigerian season of the KickStart programme, a youth entrepreneurship programme run by International Breweries that is also present in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and Tanzania.

The programme is aimed at creating a culture of entrepreneurship among young people by promoting business awareness and material support through skills development and grant funding.

The competition is only open to South Westerners between the ages of 18 and 35 years old with businesses within the South West region.

Interested entrepreneurs can apply here until November 6.
