South African on-demand cleaning startup Domestly has expanded to three more cities – Pretoria, Midrand and Centurion – with a launch in KwaZulu Natal likely before the end of the year.

Disrupt Africa reported in October 2015 Domestly launched in Cape Town, offering a service – similar to fellow South African startup SweepSouth – connecting users with cleaning professionals via a web platform or their mobile phones.

The startup allows consumers to choose a professional home cleaner based on their experience and recent reviews, and enables cleaners to confirm job requests and track their work schedules.

Domestly first expanded to Johannesburg North in July, and claims to have created more than 600 jobs in the last nine months. Last month it walked away with the App of the Year and the Best Consumer App prizes at the MTN Business App of the Year Awards.
