Pan-African tech hub network AfriLabs is to hold a series of city meetups in five countries in different African regions prior to its annual gathering.

AfriLabs, which is holding its annual gathering in Accra, Ghana in October, said the meetups will allow for networking and the sharing ideas around AfriLabs’ mandate.

The meetups will take place in Nairobi on September 16, Lagos on September 19, Dakar on September 27, Johannesburg on October 4, and Cairo on October 7.

They will feature brainstorming sessions where attendees suggest innovative ideas and select a project that can be worked on through collaboration on a regional level. AfriLabs will then work towards getting existing and new partners on board to support selected projects.

Those looking to take part in the meetups can register their interest here.
