Lagos-based cre8 hub offers fintech startups free work space

The Lagos-based cre8, which claims to be Nigeria’s first fintech hub, is offering startups in the financial technology space free work space as well as access to mentors, legal and financial advice and exposure to venture capitalists.

cre8 is dedicated to building a community of startups, investors and relevant stakeholders in the fintech industry. It provides fully serviced work space and meeting rooms for members.

The hub has now opened applications to innovative fintech startups to work from the space for free and gain access to all the benefits cre8 has to offer.

cre8 said companies with capabilities in machine learning, lending, digital banking solutions, trading, cybersecurity, data analytics, payments, cryptocurrency, insurance, wealth management and similar areas were welcome to apply.

Aside from the free space offered cre8 will also rent space to young companies, provide access to mentors and host events.

“With key players in the fintech scene clustered under one roof, cre8 will also allow executives from the financial services and regulators to engage with members seeking to provides solutions to prevalent problems in the industry,” the hub said.
