The Connect Nigeria E-Business Fair is set for Lagos, Nigeria, this month, focusing on how technology can be used to accelerate growth for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Launched in 2012, this year’s Connect Nigeria event will take place on February 27, and takes the theme of “E-Business and the Growth of Your Enterprise”.

The organisers said Connect Nigeria hopes to educate business owners on the myriad of possible avenues for implementing technology across their companies; and discuss how effective use of technology can boost SMEs’ growth.

“In today’s fast paced internet world, you want to know how online retail management platforms, mobile apps, web development and technology can grow your business, and the best strategies to use for efficient results,” the Connect Nigeria organisers said.

A number of speakers for the event have already been confirmed, including Lola Masha, country manager at OLX Nigeria; Mark Essien, chief executive officer (CEO) of Hotels.ng; Olaoluwa Samuel-Biyi, co-founder of Suregifts; and Oluseun Onigbinde, co-founder of YourBudgIT.

The event is free to attend, and registration is available here.
