International Breweries has announced that it will launch its Kickstart Entrepreneurship programme in Nigeria following previous implementations in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and Tanzania.

Applications are open until September 6 for the programme, which is aimed at creating a culture of entrepreneurship among young people by promoting business awareness and material support.

Kickstart provides grant support for new and existing small businesses, post-investment support in the form of mentoring and coaching, and hands-on training.

The Nigerian edition is open to individuals between the ages of 18 and 35.

“The Nigeria edition seeks to empower individuals by providing them with enabling ambience to help them scale their businesses and inspire individuals to take a dive into the propitious pool of entrepreneurship,” Internet Breweries, a branch of the SAB Miller family, said.
