Applications have opened for the second edition of the Ed-Tech Fellowship Programme run by Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) and Mastercard Foundation in Nigeria.<\/b><\/p>\n

Disrupt Africa reported<\/span><\/a> in February 2023 CcHub had announced a new partnership with the Mastercard Foundation under the Mastercard Foundation Ed-Tech Fellowship Programme to launch a US$15 million ed-tech accelerator initiative in Kenya and Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fellowship provided initial support to 12 Nigerian startups in 2023, as well as 12 Kenyan companies, and intends to spread the support to 36 ed-tech companies within the next two years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Nigerian version of the fellowship is now in its second year, and it is looking for new innovations from startups who have ed-tech solutions that could change the way people learn from preschool to the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\n

Startups must be Africa-focused and incorporated in Nigeria. Their solutions should address challenges across K-12, formal education, informal education, school management systems, tertiary education, corporate learning, and vocational skills training.<\/span>

The 2024 cohort of fellows who go through the accelerator program will receive expert advisory, Coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, and access to a pool of investors. They will also secure equity-free funding of US$100,000.<\/span><\/p>\n
