Cameroonian startup OnDjoss, which has developed an instant messaging app which allows inter-operator mobile money transfers, is planning expansion after strong initial uptake at home.<\/b><\/p>\n

Founded in March 2022, <\/span>OnDjoss<\/span><\/a> has developed a messaging platform with numerous innovative features, the key one being a payments facility that went live in August.<\/span><\/p>\n

So far, it has already garnered 300,000 downloads, and facilitated thousands of dollars of money transfers. CEO and Co-founder Kenyo Valdo said the OnDjoss app had received acclaim for its efficiency, security, and ease of use.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNow, we are eager to expand and dominate our local market,\u201d he said. \u201cWe also plan to integrate banks to our platform to widen the scope of transfers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Expansion into Central and West Africa is the name of the game now, but to do that OnDjoss, which monetises by charging a transaction fee, is seeking investment to fuel its growth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe demand for easy and secure money transfer solutions is rapidly growing, and OnDjoss is poised to capture a significant market share with its innovative approach,\u201d said Valdo.<\/span><\/p>\n
