Nigerian logistics startup Kwik has launched on-demand e-commerce fulfillment service KwikShelf, its first fulfillment centre at Iddo House, Lagos.<\/b><\/p>\n

Disrupt Africa reported<\/span><\/a> in July 2019 on the launch of <\/span>Kwik<\/span><\/a> \u2013 a digital platform connecting delivery partners and corporate customers in large African cities and offering digital solutions for e-commerce payment and fulfilment \u2013 after the startup raised seed funding, and it <\/span>saw speedy uptake<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The startup <\/span>raised a US$2 million Series A funding round<\/span><\/a> in March 2022, and then <\/span>launched KwikStore<\/span><\/a>, a free e-commerce storefront solution that allows any African business owner, merchant, social vendor entrepreneurs and SMEs to create their own online stores within minutes without any technical knowledge and manage them from their phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has now added to its offering with the launch of <\/span>KwikShelf<\/span><\/a>, its first on-demand e-commerce fulfillment centre in Lagos. KwikShelf is a 1,125sqm facility located in Iddo House, Oyingbo, in the centre of Lagos, which is opening in September. From this safe, secure, and central location, Nigerian merchants will be able to book warehousing space on-demand, and entirely outsource the storage and fulfillment of their inventory in a scalable, affordable, and efficient manner.<\/span><\/p>\n
