Digital marketing event series Online Tuesday is to launch in Johannesburg, South Africa on May 17, aiming to bring together stakeholders in the digital arena to collaborate and plan growth.

Disrupt Africa reported early last year Online Tuesday had launched for the first time in South Africa in Cape Town.

The event series is all about sharing knowledge and networking, with partnerships and operations manager Bernadette Kruger saying Online Tuesday was excited about the traction it had seen so far ahead of its Johannesburg launch.

“Our main motive for launching the event in Jozi is to bring the communication closer together between Cape Town and Jozi in the growing digital marketing industry; and alike for all people interested in where the online world’s journey is going,” she said.

The topic for the first event will be “Which screen?”, with speakers Micheal Ossijndriver from DQ&A Netherlands and Steven Murray from Zomato discussing how best to communicate brand and content to customers.
