BMCE Group Bank of Africa has announced that 37 finalists from 22 African countries will take place in the final round of the African Entrepreneurship Award, which offers US$1 million to the best African entrepreneurs in three categories: education, environment and untapped domains.

Disrupt Africa reported earlier this year BMCE Group Bank of Africa announced the second edition of the African Entrepreneurship Award, which aims to foster entrepreneurship in Africa by rewarding talent and technology beyond borders.

After three rounds of online mentoring, 37 finalists have now been selected to take part in a bootcamp in Casablanca, Morocco at the start of next month. Candidates will be prepared for their final presentation through coaching and personal training sessions. The three winners will be announced at a closing ceremony on December 5.

The winners will be assessed by a prestigious jury of international business leaders and entrepreneurs. This year’s edition of the African Entrepreneurship Award attracted over 7,000 applications from 105 countries, including all 54 in Africa.
